Friskolan Metis in Skara is seeking a teacher in Mathematics and Science/Technology who wants to help develop teaching in a school where innovation, commitment, and student focus are central. Opportunity for Lead Teacher position.

About the role

As a teacher in Mathematics and Science/Technology at the secondary level, you will have a central role in students' development and learning. The position also includes teaching in the school's thematic units, where the focus is primarily on mathematics and science/technology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

✔ Inspire and challenge students in their learning through varied teaching methods.

✔ Collaborate with engaged colleagues to develop the school's pedagogical activities.

✔ Contribute to a safe and stimulating school environment, where students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

✔ Be a clear leader and a responsive educator who sees each student and their individual needs.

✔ Possibility of Lead Teacher position (subject to meeting requirements stipulated in the career service regulations)

You work closely with your teaching team to plan, implement, evaluate, and develop instruction in accordance with governing documents and the school's vision. The role requires resourcefulness, creativity, and flexibility to meet students' varied conditions and create a learning environment where everyone can succeed.
