At Trolle Ljungby School, we are now looking for a committed, driven, and warm staff member who wants to work both in our after-school care center and as a resource for a student during the school day.

About the position

The position involves varied and meaningful work where, during the school day, you act as a resource for a student with special needs, and in the afternoon you are part of the after-school care activities.

As a resource, you work closely with the student, supporting learning, structure, and social interaction based on the student's needs. In after-school care, you contribute to creating a safe, creative, and developmental environment where students have opportunities for play, community, learning, and meaningful leisure time after school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has training in educational work, for example as a childminder, teaching assistant, or leisure leader
• Has experience working with clarifying pedagogy, structure, and low-arousal approach
• Is confident, warm, and clear in your approach
• Has the ability to build relationships and trust
• Is flexible and can adapt your working methods to students' needs
• Has a strong commitment to children's development, safety, and learning

Position: August 10, 2026 - June 23, 2027

Experience working as a student resource, in after-school care, or with students with special needs is meritorious.
