Are you our new child and recreation teacher at Gutegymnasiet?

As a teacher, you will be involved in and responsible for teaching in the Child and Recreation program. The position includes teaching youths based on various governing documents, such as curricula and subject plans. You plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching, grade students, and through safety and trust create a good school environment for the students.

The position includes mentorship where you are responsible for supporting students during their studies, holding progress conversations, and maintaining contact with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a teacher with a teaching license in subjects within the Child and Recreation program.

As a person, we are looking for someone who is flexible and easy to collaborate with. You are good at communicating and can inspire both students and colleagues. We want you to enjoy working both independently and in teams.

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy working with young people and be engaged in their school experience and education. We see that you have a good ability to meet each student based on their different circumstances and needs. You need to be structured and clear while also being responsive.

Much of the work is done together with colleagues, so collaboration and sharing of experiences will be an important part of the daily work.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

About Gutegymnasiet

Gutegymnasiet is an independent upper secondary school within Guteskolan AB. We started in 2007 with only one program and have now grown to have 10 national programs and 16 specializations. We have 40 employees and about 250 students.

Any profit made by Guteskolan AB is fully reinvested in the operations.

At Gutegymnasiet, we have a wonderful mix of both university preparatory and vocational programs. We also have three Introduction Programs. This provides a diversity of education, activities, and cultures, making Gutegymnasiet a joyful and stimulating learning environment. The atmosphere and climate at the school are relaxed and pleasant, which is one of the reasons why the relationship between teachers and students is so good.

Gutegymnasiet applies block scheduling, meaning students have no more than two subjects per day. The setup is similar to that used in universities and colleges and thus serves as preparation for further studies.

Probationary employment of 6 months applies.
