Teacher for Grades 3-4

We are now looking for a teacher for the school year 2026-2027 at 100% to our school, beautifully located in Persberg next to Lake Yngen. The school has been a parent cooperative since a closure threat more than 20 years ago. We work on a small scale and have integrated classes of about 17 students. We have our own kitchen and thus cook all meals on site. The operations also include after-school care and a preschool.

You who apply for the position are a licensed teacher and are qualified to teach in grades 4-6. Previous experience working in primary school is meritorious. As a teacher at Persberg's school, it is good if you are independent, solution-focused, positive, and responsible. As a teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching. You need to be able to individualize as needed. The work includes good documentation of students' knowledge development and active work with core values together with colleagues. Based on current governing documents, you work to ensure that all students develop as fully as possible.

You have an inclusive approach and can contribute to a strong sense of community, both among the student groups and collegially. Since you will be part of a smaller teaching staff, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented in the organization. In your interactions with students, you are calm, confident, and patient. We see that you have a low-affect approach in meeting with students. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment interviews are ongoing.
