Social educator

Social educator for our school

We are now looking for a committed social educator who wants to help create a safe, inclusive and developing school environment.

About the position

As a social educator, you work closely with students, guardians and staff to promote students' social development and well-being. You are an important part of the school's student health work and contribute to creating good relationships and a positive learning environment.

You work both preventively and promotively, but also supportively in situations where students need extra help. This may involve strengthening students in social contexts, managing conflicts, creating structure in everyday life and contributing to increased attendance and well-being at school.

We are looking for someone who

• has training as a social educator or other equivalent education
• has experience working with children and young people, preferably in a school environment
• is confident, relationship-building and has a solution-focused approach
• is structured and can follow up on interventions and documentation
• is a "steward" - you see the importance of working long-term, maintaining routines and creating continuity
• has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team
