At Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) we make a difference in our students' lives. IES Värmdö is a school for Kindergarten to year 9 with approximately 610 students and 68 employees. We follow the Swedish curriculum and have up to 50% of instruction in English. We opened our doors in August 2021 and have had very successful years establishing a school that is strong in IES culture. We are located in the Charlottendal area of Gustavsberg, with easy commuting from Stockholm. It takes 20 minutes by bus from Slussen and the bus stop is right next to the school.

We are looking for a certified teacher of Swedish, to teach years 7-9, starting in August 2026.
You must be knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. You are a leader in the classroom with tools to create a calm learning environment. You differentiate your instruction to meet the needs of all your students. In addition to teaching, you will also mentor 16 students. You will support them in reaching their full potential, regardless of background. You are also a fantastic team player who brings a positive attitude and energy to the teams you work in.
