About the company.

Green Deer is Sweden's largest John Deere dealer and owned by Green Deer Holding. Green Deer is a merger of the companies Bil & Traktorservice, Svenssons Motor, Agro Maskiner Gotland and Värmdal & Traktorservice, now working together under the name Green Deer.

Green Deer Holding is also the majority owner of Gunnars Maskiner AB. Together we are approximately 300 employees and offer our services and serve our customers from about twenty sales and service facilities across central and southern Sweden.

In our primary product range that we offer at all our facilities, you will find John Deere's first-class machines and equipment for agriculture, golf, turf, as well as Kramer wheel loaders and telescopic handlers of the highest quality.

About the position

As a workshop manager, you lead and coordinate the service department's work to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high-quality repairs. You are responsible for customer contacts, planning technicians' tasks, and ensuring that service routines and safety regulations are followed. The role also includes inventorying tools, maintaining order in the workshop, and continuously evaluating work with the aftermarket manager. You coordinate training, coach staff, participate in recruitment, and handle administrative tasks related to the workshop, while working towards the company's goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to lead and communicate with staff and to build strong relationships. You are structured, stress-resistant, and have good computer skills. You master Swedish and English in both speech and writing, and a B driver's license is a requirement.

In this role, you will have a great advantage if you have good knowledge of the agricultural industry. The same applies if you have experience with John Deere's products and other brands.
