Project Manager Wanted to Shape the Future Food System
Description
If you want to change the world – start with food. The food system is one of the most powerful levers for sustainable change of our time. At Livsmedelsakademin we harness that power. We bring together actors, drive projects, and create conditions for a sustainable, resilient, and competitive industry. Now we need a project manager who shares that conviction and wants to help shape the future food system.
About the role
With us, you work with the entire project manager's toolkit – from idea and application to implementation and results. You move between the strategic and the operational: one day you scan the environment and build networks, the next you lead a development project with partners from business, academia, and the public sector.
This is a role with great freedom and a clear purpose. Your work concretely contributes to a food system that meets future demands for health, sustainability, profitability, and supply capacity.
You will among other things
· Lead large and small projects with responsibility for budget, planning, and reporting
· Represent Livsmedelsakademin in projects and initiatives led by others
· Monitor calls for proposals, lead the application work, and build consortia for new projects and collaborations
· Raise priority issues on local, regional, and national arenas
· Conduct environmental scanning and build networks with partners, target groups, and stakeholders
We are looking for someone who
· Is an experienced project manager and used to planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
· Has worked with sustainability or circular transition in business or society
· Sees the connection between sustainability, resilience, preparedness, and competitiveness
· Is motivated by social issues and wants to contribute to change at the system level
· Is self-driven and equally comfortable leading as collaborating
· Is curious, humble, and thrives in a dynamic environment
Experience from the food sector or sustainability work is meritorious.
