Description

Do you want to help create a vibrant and attractive meeting place where people, ideas, and companies connect? Skellefteå Science City is now looking for a Community Manager for a temporary position, who will be responsible for and develop Skellefteå Innovation Park and contribute to a lively and welcoming place where people thrive and grow.

About the role

As a Community Manager, you will play a central role in running Skellefteå Innovation Park, an environment where companies, researchers, and public actors meet. Here we offer office and co-working spaces for innovative companies, and an event space that enables collaboration and knowledge exchange.

You will be responsible for ensuring the environment is welcoming, functional, and attractive for our tenants. As the face of Skellefteå Innovation Park, you will work closely with both new and existing tenants. You are a key contact person, handling everything from tours, contracts, and onboarding to daily dialogue.

The role also includes planning activities and events that strengthen the community and develop Skellefteå Innovation Park as a meeting place.

In addition to your work with Skellefteå Innovation Park, you will also handle administrative tasks and provide basic financial support to the organization.

Your responsibilities

Your tasks will be varied and include:

  • Managing the operation, development, and quality of our innovation environments
  • Ensuring excellent service for our tenants
  • Planning and executing activities, such as breakfasts and small events, that contribute to a lively and engaging environment
  • Welcoming new tenants and ensuring they have a smooth start and a well-functioning daily experience
  • Managing dialogue and coordination with external parties related to the premises, such as property owners and suppliers
  • Handling ongoing administration and basic financial tasks, such as invoicing and follow-up
  • Experience with basic financial administration, such as work in financial systems (e.g., Fortnox) and Excel, is meritorious

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in service and administration, who thrives in a role with many points of contact. Experience in events, co-working environments, or customer relations, such as in hotel or conference operations, is meritorious.

You are proficient with digital tools and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing. You are structured, self-driven, and service-oriented, with a strong ability to build relationships and switch between different types of tasks.

What we offer

At Skellefteå Science City, you will work in an environment where no two days are the same. You will become part of a team of engaged colleagues with diverse skills, but with a shared passion for innovation and development.

You will gain valuable insight into the green transition and the initiatives shaping the future of Skellefteå.

Here you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your tasks, while receiving the support you need to settle into the role and succeed in your work.
