Accounting Specialist - Take the Next Step in Your Career, Malmö

About the role

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a central role in the company's accounting and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring correct and efficient handling of ongoing bookkeeping and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. The role is broad and combines practical accounting work with analytical support for the finance function.

Location: Malmö, flexible hybrid solution

Main responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting including accounts receivable and payable, posting of vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Handling of VAT and other tax-related matters.
• Support with reporting and analysis for the finance function.
• Participate in improvement projects for routines and processes within the finance department.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in ongoing accounting and closings.
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Fortnox, Visma, SAP, or similar).
• Basic understanding of VAT and tax regulations.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
