Content Creator / Business Reporter (Skåne, Malmö)

Do you want to join a journey and build something from scratch? We are looking for a driven and curious writer who wants to create engaging content about entrepreneurship and business – while being out where it happens.

About the role

In this role, you produce articles, interviews, and reports published on our upcoming website/e-paper. You work both independently and proactively – you find your own angles, contact relevant people, and drive your projects to completion.

The work also involves packaging content for various channels, where text, image, and short formats (e.g., video/shorts) work together to reach and engage a broad audience.

The position is based in Malmö and work takes place on-site in Skåne.

Responsibilities

• Write articles, reports, and interviews about entrepreneurship and business
• Independently find ideas, sources, and people to interview
• Make contact, book and conduct interviews
• Photograph and edit images for publication
• Adapt and repurpose content for social media
• Work with newsletters and content that drives traffic to the website
• Contribute to developing our digital presence and reach
• Follow the organization's editorial policies and guidelines

We are looking for someone who

• Is a skilled writer with a sense of storytelling
• Is proactive and enjoys making contacts and taking initiative
• Has a strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, and commerce
• Is comfortable with digital tools, social media, and various publishing formats
• Has an eye for images and preferably experience with photography and basic editing
• Likes a fast pace and working both independently and creatively

Meritorious

• Experience in content creation for digital channels
• Knowledge of video/shorts and basic video editing
• Experience with newsletters or digital marketing

About the position

• Location: Malmö, Skåne
• Work mode: On-site
• Extent: Part-time, approximately 25%
• The position has good opportunities for expansion as the website/e-paper grows
