Sven Jinert AB is a privately owned family business that offers complete solutions within lifting, special transports and heavy material handling. Today we are 490 employees from Ystad in the south to Kiruna in the north, with headquarters in Hässleholm, where everything once started.

Do you want to take overall responsibility for accounting in a stable family business? We are now supplementing our finance department with a new position and are looking for a structured accounting manager who wants to help ensure high quality in our financial reporting.

About the role

As Accounting Manager, you have operational responsibility for ensuring that accounting and reporting are done correctly, efficiently and in accordance with current regulations and timelines. You work closely with the operations and are an important support function in financial matters.

Main duties

  • Monthly and annual accounts
  • Preparation of annual reports and consolidated accounts
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Analysis work and preparation of decision-making material
  • Basis for calculations and investments
  • System administration in financial systems
  • Support regarding fixed asset register (depreciation, component breakdown, etc.)
  • Authorization responsibility for Expense
  • Support to the business in financial matters (e.g. accounts, EU VAT, Norwegian VAT, reverse VAT)
  • Contact with Jinert OY and Norwegian companies (Jinert AS and Sven Jinert NUF) regarding VAT bases
  • Handling of exchange rates and currency exchanges
  • Support with customer setup
  • Handling of collection cases, mainly foreign customers
  • Reporting to Statistics Sweden

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have experience in qualified accounting work and relevant education in finance and accounting. You work carefully, structured and responsibly, have a good understanding of regulations in accounting and VAT, and thrive in a role that combines both operational and analytical aspects. Furthermore, you have a good ability to cooperate and communicate with different parts of the business.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and located at Jinert's headquarters in Hässleholm.
