Service Electrician

Control is fun! It is probably not more difficult than the electrical work you do today. At Lente Automation, we work with technology that creates better systems in buildings, every day.

We are now looking for someone who works as a service electrician and wants a varied job where one day you work on building the schools of the future, the next day you build systems to make future agriculture more efficient, and the third day you renovate and update systems in facilities like Globen shopping or Hilton foods.

You may have worked for a few years as a service electrician and are curious about something new. Something more technical, more system-oriented, and with a greater focus on control, function, and operation.

You don't need to know everything from the start. If you have a good foundation as a service electrician, or installation electrician, and the willingness to learn, you already have much of what is needed. You can learn the rest with us!

About the role

In this role, you work with installation, connection, and commissioning of automation equipment in properties based on documents and specifications. You become an important part of the projects and ensure that the systems are installed correctly, function as they should, and are ready for commissioning.

You work closely with our programmers, project managers, and technicians in a team where we help each other, solve problems together, and care that what we leave behind lasts over time.

Your work tasks include:

• installing and connecting control cabinets and products in the facility, such as room sensors, actuators, and pumps
• running cables and connecting components according to wiring instructions
• troubleshooting and verifying installations before commissioning
• configuring and addressing equipment before commissioning
• participating in startup and testing of facilities

You will work both in new construction and in existing properties where systems are rebuilt, improved, or modernized.

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained electrician
• has worked a few years as an electrician
• has a valid driver's license
• is accustomed to reading installation drawings, specification descriptions, and documentation
• has experience in contract or installation projects

It is an advantage if you also have

• experience in control installation or building automation
• experience reading control cabinet schematics and operation cards
• experience with PLC or DDC systems
• experience in control cabinet construction or renovation of control cabinets
