Data Center Operations Technician

BRS Networks is a well-established company in the fiber and IT market with about 75 employees. The company has its headquarters in Visby and offices in Kalmar, the Mälardalen region, and Germany. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), we take full responsibility for our clients' IT environments and deliver services in data centers, IT infrastructure, operations, support, and IT security.

We are now looking for an operations technician for our data center in Boden. In this role, you will work with the daily operation and monitoring of technical infrastructure in a business-critical environment. The work includes operating and maintaining servers, networks, systems, and the data center's physical environment, such as power, cooling, and security. You will handle troubleshooting, incidents, and service requests, as well as document actions taken. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, team leaders, and other technicians.

As an operations technician with us, you will have an important role in ensuring high availability and stable operation for our clients. You will receive support from experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to gradually assume greater technical responsibility. The position may involve shift work and on-call duty.

We are looking for someone with a high school education or vocational training, preferably in IT, electronics, or technology. You have basic technical knowledge and an interest in IT operations, networks, and data centers. You are thorough, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured manner in an environment where safety and quality are crucial. Good communication skills in Swedish and English are required, as well as a driver's license. Experience in data center work and relevant certifications are meritorious.
