System Engineer - Junior

We are now looking for a junior system engineer for a long-term assignment with our client in the aerospace and defense industry. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to work closely with advanced technical systems and contribute to the development and optimization of maintenance operations for both military and civil aviation systems.

About the assignment

As a system engineer, you will work within a team responsible for technical services related to maintenance in mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety equipment. The role involves independent work with great variety, combining theoretical analyses with practical elements.

Your tasks include among others

Conducting technical analyses and investigations

Contributing to the establishment of new maintenance capabilities

Analyzing operational and maintenance data

Developing and streamlining maintenance resources

Managing preparations and change requests

Working with material certification

Producing and updating technical documentation

Participating in the development of testing and maintenance equipment

You will also provide technical support to internal functions and contribute to work on quotes and calculations. Travel may occur, both within Sweden and internationally.

Your Profile

1-2 years of experience in a relevant technical field

Technical education in for example mechanics, hydraulics, or electromechanics, or equivalent work experience

Experience in technical work related to maintenance is meritorious, preferably in aviation or similar operations

Experience with technical documentation is meritorious

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented
