Dining Room Waiter / Chambre Séparée

At the cheese shop on Odengatan, we are passionate about raw ingredients, personal service, and hospitality. We have a small shop on the ground floor that will be expanded this summer to include a simpler dining service. Behind the small shop, we have a larger kitchen where we prepare food for takeaway, catering, and dinner services in our dining room and chambre séparée located beneath the shop.

We import most of our goods ourselves, from small producers who put their hearts into their products - something we carry forward in our interactions with customers.

We are a business built on routine work that always puts the customer first. We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced workplace focused on performance, who can drive both themselves and others. You should appreciate structure, take responsibility for the whole, and not leave problems for the next person.

I cannot emphasize enough that those of us who work here find this industry entertaining and fun - we choose restaurants and shops over offices any day. Customer interaction is the most important aspect of our business, and you should enjoy taking care of groups in our intimate setting.

We are looking for someone with a few years or a dozen years of experience in dining room service. Working in our dining room differs somewhat from traditional restaurants because we only take one group of 10–30 people at a time. You will therefore be a key player in the dining room, expected to manage an entire party from start to finish - from mise en place to closing - without losing pace or attention to detail.

The dining room is open until midnight, and you will work shifts, including every other weekend and evenings. If you are a night person, this role will be sustainable for you.
