Summer Job at the Reception

Design Apartments is a charming privately owned apartment hotel that welcomes guests for both short and long stays. Some guests are recurring corporate clients, while others book privately and stay for a shorter period. The hotel is located in the absolute center of Gothenburg, within walking distance to transport links that easily take guests to their desired destination. All 22 apartments, located on Östra Larmgatan, are fully furnished and vary in size, from studios to two-bedroom apartments, from 30 sqm to 55 sqm.

Job Description

This position is a seasonal employment lasting 6–7 weeks between weeks 26–32.

You will work alone in the reception, where you are responsible and collaborate closely with Housekeeping, which consists of 1–2 employees during the summer.

The work involves responsibility for the daily operations of Design Apartments, such as bookings and guest contact, arrivals/departures, scheduling, customer relations, general upkeep of common areas in the hotel, etc. We are looking for someone with experience in similar tasks and a passion for going the extra mile. You are dedicated to quality and always putting the guest first. We have our own website and are also on Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb, and have a network of corporate clients. We use the booking system Mews.

Working hours are primarily weekdays between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, but weekends may also occur when needed and during major events.

Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
