Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a kitchen assistant at Ängdala schools in Höllviken. We are a primary school with grades preschool through grade 9 and an integrated preschool. Our school is located in a quiet area of Höllviken.

As a kitchen assistant, you are responsible for salad preparation, preparing for meals, serving, washing dishes, and cleaning. You also actively participate in other tasks that exist in a kitchen. Hygiene and knowledge of the ingredients used are important. You are involved in ensuring the quality of the food and providing a good and welcoming reception for our children, students, and staff. Preferably, you have a few years of experience in the profession and an interest in cooking and flavors.

You have good and up-to-date knowledge of food hygiene. We also assume that you can write, read, and communicate well in Swedish, as you have many contacts with students, teachers, and other staff in your work, as well as some computer skills to be able to manage orders.

As a person, you are structured, orderly, and handle work peaks well. It is important that you have a positive attitude, that you can be flexible, and that you understand that work in the kitchen is sometimes physically demanding. You have a service mindset and a good ability to see the big picture. You enjoy working with others in a group and can organize and perform your work independently. The work is performed during the day, Monday to Friday, and covers 87.5-100%.
