Chef for Mormors Bistro, Öland

Mormors Bistro is located at Stora Rör harbor on Öland – a place where summer, the sea, and good food meet.

Guests come here to enjoy relaxed evenings, lunches in the sun, and dinners with a view of the water. We serve food made with care, seasonal ingredients, and a focus on flavor, quality, and a pleasant overall experience.

We are now looking for a chef for the summer season of 2026.

About the role

As a chef with us, you work in an à la carte kitchen where pace, quality, and collaboration are key. You are an important part of the daily kitchen work and contribute to ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen maintains a high standard.

The work includes everything from preparations and mise en place to service, where you work with seasonal ingredients and with great respect for the produce. You will thrive here if you enjoy a high tempo while also having an eye for detail.

You become part of a tight-knit team in a vibrant restaurant environment at Stora Rör harbor, where together we create good food, a great atmosphere, and a wonderful summer for our guests.

About you

You have a genuine interest in cooking and want to deliver dishes with both flavor and quality. You are meticulous, organized, and have a good understanding of hygiene and kitchen routines.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are a team player, and bring positive energy to the kitchen even when it gets busy.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from à la carte kitchens (1–3 years advantageous)
• Thrives in a high pace and enjoys service
• Is meticulous, flexible, and responsible
• Has a good sense of quality and ingredients
• Is a team player who contributes to the team

About the position

Scope: Full-time 100% (summer season 2026)

Salary: According to agreement

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekends
