Carpenter/Property Maintenance Worker

Arjeploghus is the municipally owned housing company of Arjeplog municipality. We currently manage approximately 320 apartments and a number of premises. We have about 9 employees in the company. We aim to be a role model locally, creating security and good relationships with our tenants, and we strive to be the Arjeplog resident's first choice when it comes to apartments. We are a small team where joy and collaboration are key words. Now you have the chance to take on an important role as a service-oriented carpenter with us.

The position mainly involves working as a carpenter on interior and exterior projects on our properties, as well as supporting other parts of our operations.

As a carpenter with us, you will become an important part of our property team. The role is broad and includes both planned and ongoing work. You will work closely with colleagues in various fields and have daily contact with our tenants.

Since you will be the only carpenter we have, we consider professional experience important and meritorious, as you must have the knowledge required to solve the projects and problems that arise in the operations.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The tasks include, among others:

Carpentry work in apartments and properties (repairs, maintenance, minor renovations).

Ongoing property maintenance.

Property emergency duty, rotating schedule approximately every 4th or 5th week.

Snow removal and other seasonal tasks.

Practical tasks such as carrying and installing household appliances.

Contributing to order, safety, and comfort in our residential areas.

The position is varied and requires flexibility and a willingness to help where needed.

Your profile:

Experience as a carpenter or equivalent practical background.

Handy, solution-oriented, and accustomed to physical work.

Comfortable working both independently and with others.

Service-minded and respectful demeanor.

Good collaborative skills and a positive contribution to the group.

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
