Caretaker

As a Caretaker at Quality Hotel Royal Corner, you are a key person for ensuring that the hotel is in the best possible condition and that our guests enjoy a fantastic experience. You are responsible for both exterior and interior maintenance, upkeep of the hotel's premises, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Main responsibilities

• Carry out ongoing repairs and maintenance of rooms, common areas, and technical equipment, including painting and simple carpentry work.
• Conduct continuous inspections of rooms, premises, and substations to identify and address any deficiencies.
• Assist management in property matters and have thorough knowledge of the demarcation list.
• Responsible for furnishing conference rooms.
• Handle incoming fault reports and document actions from start to finish.
• Report deficiencies that fall under the property owner's responsibility according to the demarcation list.
• Order and purchase consumables, services, and work according to agreements. Handle/check incoming invoices.
• Contribute to the hotel achieving the chain's environmental index.
• In collaboration with management, work to ensure the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct fire rounds according to established routines in the SBA.
• Responsible for the maintenance and compliance of the self-monitoring program for the pool facility.
• Introduce new employees to property, safety, and fire-related issues.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in property maintenance. Training in property technology is meritorious. We value both your skills and personal qualities, as well as your willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Good social skills and a genuine enjoyment of helping people are prerequisites for thriving and succeeding in the role. We believe you are described as a service-minded and positive person who enjoys collaboration and teamwork. You are responsible and organized, ensuring that your tasks are completed with good results and on time. Furthermore, you are proactive and have a good ability to independently plan and structure your work in the daily operations and maintenance of our properties.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

About us

Quality Hotel Royal Corner is a franchise hotel within Strawberry Hotels. The hotel opened in 1985 and we have 160 hotel rooms, 10 conference and meeting rooms, a gym, pool and relaxation area, and our own garage. The hotel also includes the restaurant The Social Bar & Bistro.
