During the harvest of 2025, we need reinforcements – someone who is meticulous, has a good sense of order, enjoys working in a team and having customer contact. For our facility in Vara, we are looking for several seasonal employees for various tasks. We offer a varied and fun job during August-September with a great group of colleagues!

We are looking for employees for the following tasks:

• Grain reception – Control and monitoring of the process when unloading grain, drying, cleaning and storage.

• Sampling – Register incoming grain deliveries and take samples to the laboratory.

• Laboratory – Perform analyses of grain to ensure quality.

• Wheel loader operator – Moving and handling grain

• Night staff – Control and monitoring of drying, cleaning and storage

About us:

Varaslättens Lagerhus was founded in 1930 and is an economic association owned by approximately 1,930 members who are grain producers in western Sweden. The association dries, stores and trades grain, and together with our members we aim to produce attractive products for the mill and feed industry. The association has a turnover of approximately SEK 1.1 billion and handles approximately 300,000 tons of grain per year. Our grain handling is divided into two facilities, one in Vara and one in Tråvad, and we have our own haulage company with six trucks. The association also sells, among other things, seeds, plant nutrients, energy and crop protection products together with well-developed advisory services. We have 42 employees and our staff is a competent, committed and close-knit group.
