About us

Wimans Mekaniska Verkstad AB on Gotland is a well-established company with a wide range of activities in service, repair, welding, and sheet metal processing. We carry out repairs and manufacturing for agriculture and industry, and we also design in 3D-CAD. We perform service and repair of boilers and manufacture products for heating systems.

About the position

As an operations and service technician, you will have a varied role working both at customer sites and, when needed, in our workshop. The work is carried out both independently and in a team.

Job duties

• Supervision and maintenance of boiler plants
• Service, troubleshooting, and repair of boilers
• Measures in case of operational disruptions
• On-call duty as needed
• Ongoing maintenance and improvement work

Workshop work (when needed)

• CNC machining
• Welding
• Turning and milling
• Manufacturing and adaptation of components

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a B driving license (required)
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing (required)
• Can communicate in English
• Has good practical understanding and likes to tinker
• Is self-driven, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Can make decisions and take responsibility in the field
• Has an interest in technology, mechanics, and preferably also electricity

Meritorious

• Welding skills (MAG/MMA)
• Experience with heating systems or boiler plants
• Knowledge of mechanics and basic electricity
• Experience in workshop work or CNC
• Background in agriculture, industry, or service
