Are you the chef we're looking for this summer?
Movitz is a lively west coast restaurant open from May to August, just a stone's throw from the sea in the charming fishing village of Mollösund on the island of Orust. We focus on well-prepared, thoughtful cuisine – simple at its core but with a clear sense of quality and finesse.
We are a close-knit team of around 15 people, including kitchen, service, dishwashers, and hosts. Our ambition is to create a positive and respectful workplace where everyone thrives, develops, and has fun together.
Working with us also means enjoying summer life in Mollösund – with access to swimming, fishing, nature, and a lively mix of restaurants and shops. During summer, many seasonal workers of all ages gather here, creating a social and energetic environment.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in food who wants to work in a professional kitchen. You will work in teams of two, sharing responsibility for everything from deliveries and prep to cooking and service.
We believe you:
- Have at least 6 months experience from an à la carte kitchen, or
- Are in your second year (or above) of culinary school and completed an internship at an à la carte restaurant
- Are driven, curious, and enjoy teamwork
For the right person, there are good opportunities for development – we are happy to train you in-house.
Staff accommodation is available just minutes from the workplace. Salary according to agreement.
There is also the possibility to continue the season with us at Hamrekrogen in Åre (December–April), giving you the chance to work with us year-round.
