Blanche Brasserie & Bar is a vibrant brasserie located in Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central, a hotel that has undergone extensive renovation over the past year to meet the guest experiences of the future. Here, Mediterranean gastronomy meets Swedish flavors in an atmosphere that is both warm and confident.
We serve breakfast, lunch, and à la carte – always with the same high ambition and respect for craftsmanship. We are now looking for a head chef who wants to lead and further develop our kitchen team and create experiences that guests will carry with them long after their visit.
About the role
As head chef, you are responsible for the daily work in the kitchen – from menu planning, staff management, and cost control. You create structure, quality, and creativity on every shift and ensure that the team grows both in knowledge and work enjoyment. You are a present leader who is passionate about both taste and structure, and who wants to create a sustainable and inspiring work environment. Your leadership sets the tone in the kitchen – with clarity, passion, and respect for the ingredients.
We are looking for someone who...
- Has several years of experience as a head chef or sous chef at a high level.
- Is confident in leading, coaching, and inspiring a team.
- Works systematically and is accustomed to handling purchasing, waste, and key performance indicators.
- Has good knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
- Has a passion for seasonal menus and Mediterranean flavors.
