Specialist Nurse–Assignment in Specialist Care Summer 2026

We currently have assignments at Regions and their various facilities. As a consultant nurse with specialized nursing training, you can work in e.g., ICU, operating room, ambulance, outpatient clinics, etc.

There are summer assignments with almost all regions.

As a consultant nurse, you have a broad opportunity to choose when and where you want to work.

Consultant nurses receive assignments ranging from a few days to several months.

You will always receive an introduction at the workplace you are to staff.

You will always have occupational pension, be insured, and have sick pay supplement.

Maybe you want to spend the summer somewhere else? We arrange accommodation if you take an assignment far from home.

Or do you want to test whether the job as a consultant nurse would suit you? You can start by taking a few shifts or work a week during your vacation.

The requirements to work as a consultant nurse at regions are:

Registered nursing license in Sweden

C1 Swedish

2 years of experience as a nurse in the Nordic countries

Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new routines and collaborate with new colleagues.

For specialist assignments, specialized nursing training is required:
