Experienced Moving Truck Driver - Mover 75-85%

We are currently looking for two experienced moving truck drivers at 75-85%, for our moving operations in Greater Stockholm, based at our office in Ulvsunda/Bromma. This position offers the possibility to develop into a team leader role.

Rent A Mover is a moving company with over 25 years of industry experience. We are currently in an expansion period with ambitions, plans, and opportunities to grow. We work with both private and public clients, handling everything from large household moves to smaller individual furniture moves, office relocations, piano transports, and other more advanced heavy transports, staffing with ID06, and move-in cleaning. We deliver our services directly to customers and indirectly as subcontractors.

Job Duties and Expectations

As a Driver at Rent A Mover, you play a key role where, in addition to working as part of a team as a Mover, you are the one driving and responsible for the vehicle to and from the customer. Additional tasks include, besides the obvious safe and responsible driving to the right location, ensuring the vehicle is in good condition and that everything is in its place after completing a job. The Driver's responsibilities also include, in consultation with the team leader, ensuring the vehicle is refueled, washed, and safety-checked before each journey, and being responsible for loading the customer's belongings. This means a driver's license is mandatory. It is also highly meritorious if you have local knowledge of Greater Stockholm and previous experience with similar tasks.

As a team leader, you are also the one who, together with backoffice and the CEO, is responsible for daily operations and workflow. You engage in dialogue with customers on-site and, in a very pleasant manner, adapt operations to customer needs and company capabilities. You ensure that our movers perform their work in the best possible way and are responsible for training new employees on how to work safely and securely for both customers and staff. Therefore, it is very important that you have an interest in delivering good service, have strong communication skills, master Swedish in speech and writing, and have experience in the moving industry.

We do not compromise on quality and expect all our Movers and Drivers to be meticulous, take responsibility, understand customer integrity, and show flexibility.
