About the operation and the organization
Friluftsfrämjandet I Ur och Skur Utveckling AB, wholly owned by Friluftsfrämjandet, runs thirteen preschools and schools with a unique pedagogy where all possible profits are reinvested in the operations.

About us
I Ur och Skur Mårtensberg School is a small and safe school with approximately 96 students from preschool through grade 3. We are an I Ur och Skur school where our pedagogy means that learning takes place in close interaction with nature. For us, relationships, safety, and the student's overall development are central.
We are a committed staff group that works closely together and collectively creates an inclusive, health-promoting, and accessible learning environment for all students.
About the assignment
We are looking for someone who wants to work in a clear counselor role within student health services. The assignment is based on the Education Act's intentions for a comprehensive student health service where preventive and health-promoting work is in focus.
As a counselor, you work with students' psychosocial situation and help remove barriers to learning. You are part of the school's student health team (EHT) and collaborate closely with school management, educators, and external actors when needed.
The position includes:
- Conducting supportive, motivational, and structured conversations with students
- Contributing psychosocial expertise in the student health team's work
- Collaborating with teachers on extra adaptations and special support
- Having follow-up and supportive contacts with guardians
- Being responsible for handling, investigating, and following up on violations and harassment according to current governing documents
- Working systematically with the school's plan against discrimination and degrading treatment
- Initiating, implementing, and following up on promotional and preventive measures related to safety and study peace
- Contributing to documentation related to student cases, action programs, and student health work
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work, alternatively education as a behavioral scientist or social pedagogue
- Experience working as a counselor in primary school
- Good knowledge of the student health service's mission and work based on the Education Act, the Social Services Act, and governing documents
- Experience working with children in need of special support
- Competence regarding neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)
- Experience in documentation related to student health work, such as action programs
