Teacher of Music (Grades 1-9) and Social Studies (Grades 7-9)

As a teacher at Ingridskolan, you will be responsible for small classes. You will lead and guide them in their schoolwork with the help of teaching assistants working in the various classes. You need to be flexible and able to individualize instruction based on students' different conditions.

The position also includes mentoring a class. At Ingridskolan, this involves a more extensive and continuous effort than in many other schools, with daily contact and check-ins with guardians regarding the student's development, challenges, and support needs, as well as close collaboration with the student health team.

We are looking for a colleague with a strong interest in special education and experience/training with the school's student group (NDD/autism/ADHD/dyslexia/language disorder, etc.).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Important qualities include being confident in the teaching role and prepared to take responsibility for the student's development towards goals from a holistic perspective. Ingridskolan is a small primary and secondary school primarily adapted for students with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) but open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school works according to the TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.
