As a Home and Consumer Studies teacher at Ingridskolan, you will be responsible for small classes. You will guide and lead students in their schoolwork with the help of teaching assistants working in the various classes. You need to be flexible and able to individualize instruction according to each student's different needs.

We are looking for a colleague with a strong interest in special education and experience/training related to our student group (neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, language disorders, etc.).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Important qualities include being confident in your role as a teacher and willing to take responsibility for each student's progress toward goals from a holistic perspective. About the School

Ingridskolan is a small primary and secondary school primarily tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school operates based on TEACCH pedagogy where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.

Ingridskolan offers a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development aimed at creating effective learning and leisure environments for children and adolescents with ASD. To make this possible, staff receive ongoing supervision and further training in ASD.

About Employment Conditions

25% position scheduled on Tuesdays, with classes from 08:00 to 15:00.
