Who are we?

Our sister school Engelska Skolan Norr was founded in 1993 and is one of Stockholm's oldest independent F-9 schools. The school is part of the organization Engelska skolor och förskolor AB, where currently 220 people work across four primary schools and four preschools.

Engelska skolan Novia F-9 offers our students a bilingual education of high quality that follows the Swedish curriculum. Since we operate in an international environment, you need to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Our pedagogy is characterized by a sustainable approach where we work to help each student realize their full potential both academically and as socially competent individuals.

Engelska skolan Novia has approximately 350 students and is located in Årstadal/Liljeholmen.

Who are we looking for?

A qualified and certified teacher in sloyd, who preferably has the knowledge to teach both sloyd subjects. If you have a foreign degree in sloyd, your teaching language will be English. Both positions are at 75%.

You put the student at the center and are a clear leader with good pedagogical ability. You easily build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians, and you recognize the importance of creating a calm study environment and a good atmosphere in the classroom.

You are responsive to the needs of students and the organization, and you are interested in developing and adapting your working methods to different conditions.

You are well-versed in the goals of the curriculum and work systematically to make teaching accessible to students, and you are passionate about guiding them in creative creation.

What do we offer?

The positions are at 75% starting on August 7.

We apply a 6-month probationary period.

As a teacher at Engelska skolan Novia, you work closely with your colleagues in teams. You plan both independently and together with your closest colleagues. The school has a student health team and engaged colleagues.
