Production Planner

We are looking for a material coordinator/production planner for a long-term assignment with our client in the defense industry. The role is central to ensuring efficient material flows and enabling production to meet its delivery targets.

You will become a key person in the collaboration between production, planning, and purchasing in a complex and technically advanced environment.

About the assignment

As a material coordinator, you are responsible for monitoring material flows and delivery forecasts related to production. You work proactively to identify and manage material shortages and drive actions for deviations. The role involves many contact points where you coordinate between different functions and ensure critical items are prioritized correctly.

Your tasks include, among others

Monitor and forecast material deliveries to production

Coordinate with planners, production, purchasing, and other stakeholders

Prioritize internal production sequence to meet customer needs

Present overall material status to internal customers

Mark and manage urgent items in the business system

Initiate and drive actions for delivery deviations

Set requirements for internal functions such as production, purchasing, and quality

Analyze material shortages and produce statistics to identify trends

Work proactively to minimize urgent material shortages

Ensure material flows are synchronized and optimized for production

Your Profile

3 years of experience in logistics, planning, or purchasing in a production environment

University education in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Strong ability to work both strategically and operationally, from overall to detail

Experience working independently and making decisions

Ability to set requirements and follow up on actions against various functions

Very good knowledge of Excel

Experience with business systems, preferably IFS or similar

Good knowledge of English in speech and writing

Work model: Primarily on-site, with possibility of some remote work
