Student Resource on an Hourly Basis, School Days Only

The Håslöv Village School is a small independent primary school in Vellinge municipality with approximately 55-60 students aged 6-12 years.

Håslöv Village School is seeking a committed and stable student resource for a student with multiple diagnoses.

About the Position

We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with a student in need of special support during the school day. The student may occasionally be outwardly aggressive toward other students and exhibit oppositional behavior, which requires your approach, structure, and ability to create a sense of security.

The position is hourly-based and follows the student's attendance. The work is performed during school hours and does not apply during holidays, study days, or other schedule-breaking days. No work shifts apply if the student is absent.

Duties

• Support the student in teaching and social situations
• Create structure and predictability in the student{�}s school day
• Prevent and manage conflicts in a calm and professional manner
• Collaborate with teachers and student health services regarding the studentus development
• Working hours 8:15 AM k 2:45 PM

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education in pedagogy, child and leisure, or similar (meritorious)
• Has experience working with children with NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities)
• Is calm, clear, and uses low-arousal approaches
• Has good collaboration skills and is flexible
• Has an interest in football, as this can be an important part of building a relationship with the student

Personal Attributes

You are confident in yourself, patient, and able to meet the student where they are. You can handle challenging situations without losing your calm and see opportunities in each student's development. You work in a team with one class teacher and one class resource and should continuously dialogue with them about the student and their development. Therefore, you should be a team player.
