Önneköp General Store seeks store employee

Do you want to work in a general store that is more than just a shop?

Önneköp General Store is a co-owned general store and an important social meeting place on the Linderöd Ridge in Skåne. Here, locals, passers-by, and curious visitors meet to buy everyday goods, locally produced food, and some more unusual treats.

We are now looking for a new employee who wants to help run and develop the business together with us.

About the role

As a store employee, you will work with the daily operations of the general store together with colleagues. The tasks vary and include, among other things:

• customer service and cashier work
• ordering and receiving goods (local producers and Dagab)
• pricing and date checks
• stocking shelves
• opening and closing the store

We are looking for someone who:

• has at least two years of experience and/or education in trade or food retail
• thrives in a role with great responsibility and varying pace
• is collaborative and wants to work closely with both staff, association, and board
• is curious and wants to help develop the business

Meritorious:

• experience with food ordering
• familiarity with Wave cash register system
• experience with agency services (DHL, Bring, Schenker, Apoteket, Systembolaget)
• driver's license class B
