Hall Manager Cirkus Cirkör

In Alby lies northern Europe's largest circus hall, and this spring it will become even larger. The training halls in the Cirkus building have around 10 meters ceiling height, trampolines, rigging points in both floor and ceiling, tumbling floors, two foam pits, and most of what is needed for most circus disciplines.

This spring we are launching a new business branch, Cirkör Hotspot, which will become a platform for young adults to train and create together. The operation moves into new premises adjacent to our existing circus halls, where new order and routines will be needed. The position also involves supporting the operation in production.

About the position

Your main assignment is to be responsible for safety, order, technical support, and internal communication in Cirkus Cirkör's premises, with a particular focus on daily operations and support for the Cirkör Hotspot project.

You equip Studio 3 and our new premises according to operational needs. You maintain and develop order in the hall and perform PPE inspections. You work with practical solutions both in the workshop and throughout the building, and support the operation in production.

The Operations Manager for the building/Technical Manager is your immediate supervisor.

Your main tasks

• Safety work and routine development, such as PPE inspections, daily inspection of the hall and its equipment, and conducting safety briefings.
• You are responsible for error reporting and follow-up via the facility's ToDo list.
• You are responsible for purchasing materials for the hall and workshop.
• You work in a sales- and cost-conscious manner in purchasing and using materials.
• You notice and flag deficiencies in the work environment in a timely manner to the Technical Manager.

Who are you?

Required profile

• Upper secondary education
• You have basic competence in circus rigging and good knowledge of different circus disciplines.
• You work systematically and have a good sense of order.
• You are skilled in handicrafts.
• Experience in risk assessments and safety work.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Aerial lift license.
• Hot work certification.
• Sound, light, and stage technology.
• Other language skills.

About the position

The position is a fixed-term employment for 2 years at 50%, with the possibility of extension.

Start: August 10, 2026.

We work with flexible working hours. Weekend and evening work occurs. Your main workplace is the Cirkus building in Alby.

We follow the Employers' Alliance collective agreement for Experience and Culture.
