Summer Job - 3D Printing

Svensk Legosmide manufactures large series of products with a focus on heat treatment of steel. The focus is on creating high resistance to wear, such as is applicable to agricultural products. Manufacturing is carried out from bar or sheet metal in selected material grades to achieve the desired condition after heat treatment.

We are now looking for a talent who can support the operations in 3D printing to establish internal routines for manufacturing prototypes with 3D printing. A latest model BambuLab machine is available on site, but we want to establish routines. The entire process from 3D modeling to printing is our focus. The focus is on manufacturing gauges and templates for production to facilitate quality controls. Additionally, a subsidiary will contribute with entirely different items in materials such as PETG and translucent material for its industry.

We believe you have previous experience at an amateur level in 3D modeling and 3D printing. You can present work samples as evidence of your knowledge to ensure a good starting level in the job. The summer job can be carried out during June–August with a closed period of 4 weeks in July.
