We need dedicated assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a strong personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you will be a crucial part of creating a safe and meaningful daily life for both the child and the family.

About the position

Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is happy and social and needs support with everything in her daily life. She likes music, doing crafts, and going for walks. During the day, you accompany the girl to school and assist during lessons. After school, you work mostly at the girl's home and with her family, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful manner, and great empathy.

The girl needs help with everything in her daily life. She does not have spoken language but expresses herself with sounds and facial expressions. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory support such as a cough machine and suction.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. Thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. A valid driver's license and access to a car are required to commute to and from work.

Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, you must be creative, attentive, and observant of small signals. Experience in personal assistance is meritorious, but personal suitability and care experience will be given the most weight. Since the girl is under 18, a valid extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment.
