Maybe you should hang out with a 13-year-old boy who loves mischief, laughter, and coming up with things to do! We are looking for personal assistants who want to work as substitutes – and who want to make a real difference in a child's life.

Our boy lives in Sundbyholm with his family, and he likes it when there's some action. He is a social and curious person with a great sense of humor, and he thrives when the adults around him are confident, creative, and like to take initiative for fun activities – both at home, at school, and in respite care.

He has difficult-to-treat epilepsy with multiple disabilities, one of which is a cerebral palsy injury. He uses a wheelchair and gets all his nutrition via a feeding tube. In the workplace, there is also suctioning, oxygen, and a cough machine. That may sound technical – but with the right introduction and the right attitude, it quickly becomes a natural part of the job.

What we are looking for:

You who apply should be a person who dares to take space – but also knows when to step back. You are considerate, responsible, and have an eye for detail. You like to talk, laugh, and be a safe adult when needed most.

The family is social, and it is important that you also enjoy being social – because here they like to spend time with both friends and relatives. The family sometimes goes on outings and events.

For the job to work, you need:

• To be flexible and able to work day, evening, and weekend according to schedule

• To have a driver's license and a car – the job is in Sundbyholm so there is a lack of buses

• To know Swedish well in both speech and writing (there are many routines and documentation)

• Not to be allergic to furry animals – there is a cat at home

• To be a non-smoker

• Preferably have worked in healthcare before and ideally have knowledge of epilepsy
