We need committed assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a strong personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you become a crucial part of creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for both the child and the family.

The schedule is awake hours all times of the day, separate shifts for day and night.

About the position

Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is happy and social and needs support with everything in her daily life. She likes music, doing crafts, and going for walks. During the day, you accompany the girl to school and assist during lessons. After school, you mainly work at the girl's home with her family, so it is important that you are good at communicating, have a good and respectful attitude, and good empathy skills.

The girl needs help with everything in her daily life. She does not have spoken language but expresses herself with sounds and facial expressions. She uses a feeding tube and requires respiratory support such as a cough machine and suction.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. Thorough and clear introduction applies upon employment. Car and driver's license are required to commute to and from work.

Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, you need to be creative, perceptive, and attentive to small signals. Experience in personal assistance is meritorious, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh most heavily. Please include in your application when you are available for the position.

Because the girl is under 18, a submitted extract from the criminal record is required before employment.
