Emploi is seeking a supervisor or environmental therapist for visitation and foster home guidance Do you speak Tigrinya and have experience with foster homes and visitation? It is also relevant for individuals with cultural competence specifically focused on Eritrea/Ethiopia, who can work with an interpreter. We are looking for a male supervisor (motivated by personal reasons, supervision takes place in the client's home) for a demanding and meaningful assignment linked to Oslo and Innlandet. ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT: For the social services, we need an environmental therapist/supervisor for supervision connected to visitation between a child in a foster home and the biological mother. The assignment involves guiding the mother, the foster father, and the child, with the goal of creating safety and facilitating good visitation situations. Cultural competence and language skills are central to this assignment. The supervision takes place in the client's home, and for personal reasons, a male supervisor is required. Scope: - Up to 20 hours per month including report writing - Duration is at least one year and assessed every three months - Meeting location: partly Rendalen, partly Oslo (approx. 50/50) - Physical meetings at start-up and during visitation, thereafter digital meetings by agreement - Travel time can be compensated REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPERVISOR: - At least 3-year social pedagogical college education (other equivalent educations may be considered) - Experience in foster home supervision, visitation, and parental guidance - Cultural competence focused on Eritrea and/or Ethiopia - Tigrinya language skills are meritorious for this assignment - Male supervisor (motivated by personal reasons, supervision takes place in the client's home) - Living close to Oslo is meritorious WHAT WE OFFER: - Salary by agreement - Travel time and travel expenses are compensated by agreement - Clear and defined assignment with good follow-up - Support from Emploi throughout the assignment INTERESTED?
