For the school year 2026/2027, Europaskolan Rogge is investing in several subject areas and grade levels. We are looking for skilled and dedicated teachers, and we place great importance on finding the right person for our operations, rather than filling a narrow job description.

Europaskolan Rogge is a non-profit primary and lower secondary school in Strängnäs with about 500 students in grades 4-9. All surplus is reinvested in the operations. The school has a clear knowledge profile and is characterized by structure, study peace, and high expectations - both on students and on those of us who work here.

About the position/positions

We are now looking for teachers and are open to various subject combinations. The scope and content of the positions can be adapted based on your qualifications, competence, and experience.

Current areas of focus may include:

• Mathematics/Science (grades 7-9) - preferably with an interest in advanced study and gifted education. You may work with students admitted to gifted programs, where teaching is characterized by high study pace, subject depth, and didactic development.
• Teacher (grades 4-6) - where mentorship is a central part of the assignment, which means clear responsibility for students' knowledge development, attendance, and collaboration with guardians and student health. The assignment is structured and supported by school leadership and student health.
• Music, Physical Education, Art, and/or Sloyd (grades 4-6 and/or 7-9)
• If you have education in special education or as a special needs teacher, you are extra interesting to us.

Other subject combinations are possible, and we prefer if you teach more than one subject.

Your assignment

As a teacher at Europaskolan Rogge, you are responsible for:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching with high quality and clear structure
• Creating and maintaining study peace and a safe learning and working environment
• Contributing to good relationships and professional collaboration with colleagues
• Working systematically to ensure all students reach as far as possible in their knowledge development

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching degree (teaching license is strongly meritorious)
• Is confident, structured, and clear in their pedagogical leadership
• Has good subject competence and didactic skill
• Has the ability to build relationships and trust with students
• Thrives with collaboration and takes joint responsibility for the school's mission

It is meritorious if you:

• Teach several subjects
• Have experience in mentorship
• Have worked with high-achieving students
• Have experience or interest in gifted education, especially in science

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
