We are looking for someone who is positive, takes initiative easily, and is responsive to children's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your manner towards others. This is especially important as we are a small unit with one department for children aged 1 to 5 years (23 children) and a team of 5 people working closely together. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to work both independently and in a group.

As a preschool teacher, you have unique opportunities to influence and contribute to children's development and learning during their early years. You help create a positive and stimulating environment for each child and the entire group. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that teaching is conducted in line with the intentions of the curriculum (Lpfö18) and that each child's development and learning are documented and followed up.

Förskolan Prästkragen has been in Kristinehamn since 1994 and is run by Kristinehamn Parish. The preschool has a Christian profile and our operations are based on Christian values, where we cherish Christian traditions and how to treat oneself and one's fellow human beings.

Now that one of our preschool teachers is starting a family, we can offer a long-term full-time substitute position as a preschool teacher. We would like you to start with us during the first part of August. QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for a licensed preschool teacher. We believe that you as a person have a great commitment to the profession and want – despite it being a substitute position – to contribute to the continued development of our preschool. You find it easy to build good relationships and have good communication skills. It is important for us that you cooperate well in a group and are flexible, as the work is varied. You are a member of the Swedish Church and share the church's values.
