Trainer in Support Pedagogy (HE, distance)

About the position
We are seeking a trainer for a higher vocational education program in support pedagogy, focusing on the disability area / LSS.
The assignment is conducted remotely and comprises approximately 4 hours of instructor-led teaching per week. The education is offered at 50% study pace, meaning that as a trainer you are responsible for course content equivalent to about 20 hours per week, including teaching, supervision, and students' self-study.
You have overall responsibility for the course/implementation, which includes:
- Planning and structuring the course
- Developing your own teaching materials
- Conducting digital teaching
- Designing and examining (tests/assignments)
- Grading and providing feedback to students
About the education and courses
The education is aimed at future support pedagogues and is based on national course objectives.
The courses included in this assignment are:
• Pedagogical theories, methods, and approaches
Focus on special education, individualized working methods, guidance, and improvement work in operations.
• Human development
Covers human development from psychological, social, and cultural perspectives, including salutogenic approach (SOC), diversity, and quality of life.
• Disabilities
Provides knowledge about various disabilities and their consequences in daily life, as well as interaction based on individual needs.
• Communication, welfare technology, and cognitive support
Focuses on communication, AAC, conversation methodology, digital aids, and implementation of welfare technology.
We hope that one person can be responsible for several or all courses to create a coherent thread in the education, but we are also open to multiple specialists.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working within the disability area/LSS
- Relevant education in, for example, pedagogy, special education, social work, or behavioral science
- Good knowledge of individualized working methods and pedagogical approaches
- Experience in supervision, training, or similar roles
Meriting:
- Experience in higher vocational education or adult education
- Knowledge of AAC and welfare technology
- Experience in course responsibility and examination
