Description

Welcome to our inspiring community at Gnesta Waldorf School!

About the school

The school is beautifully located on Gnestahöjden, a ten-minute walk from Gnesta train station, 40 minutes from Stockholm C. The head is a non-profit association founded in 1993. Gnesta is a growing municipality, and we are a modern Waldorf school that constantly grows and develops with just under 190 students from preschool class up to grade 9, along with after-school care.

Gnesta Waldorf School is characterized by a holistic view of the students that aims to develop the whole person – thought, feeling, and will. Some things that distinguish our pedagogy are that we work with cross-curricular thematic periods and aim to integrate creative activities such as art, crafts, and music into all school subjects.
