Site Manager – Travelling Position

At Haglunds Bygg & Entreprenad AB, we are now looking for a travelling site manager who wants to lead our projects across Sweden and be a key player in production. Here you will have the opportunity to work close to decisions, take responsibility for the entire construction process, and help create well-executed projects together with an engaged team.

We work with renovations, extensions and new construction of commercial properties, with projects varying in size and complexity. This means work that is both developmental and varied.

As a site manager with us, you lead the project from construction start to completion and handover. You are responsible for production, finances and coordination on site – while having the freedom to plan and manage work in the best possible way.

Since our projects are located throughout the country, the position involves travelling during the week (Monday–Thursday).

Your role

In the role as site manager, you will:

• Lead and be responsible for construction projects from start to completion
• Plan, manage and follow up production on site
• Be responsible for the project's finances, budget and forecasts
• Coordinate craftsmen, subcontractors and deliveries
• Ensure that work complies with requirements for quality, environment and work environment
• Handle procurement of materials and certain purchases
• Be the contact person for clients and partners

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a confident and solution-oriented leader in production. You have experience driving projects forward and thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility and make decisions.

You are structured in your approach, have a strong commitment to your projects, and are good at creating good collaboration among all parties on the construction site.

We believe you have

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a site manager in construction
• Experience leading construction production and project teams
• Civil engineering education or equivalent experience from the industry
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Ability to work away from home during the week

It is meritorious if you have previously worked in a travelling role.

We would prefer that you are based in the Gothenburg area, where the company has its base.
