Description

About the workplace

Are you interested in a stimulating and developing job?

We want to put our residents at the center, and the heart of our service work is the contact center. There we handle most channels into the municipality, such as phone, email and chat.

The contact center is now looking for a municipal guide! Warmly welcome with your application!

Your tasks

Our contact center has 7 municipal guides, one of whom is a coordinator. You will work closely together in an open environment.

As the title municipal guide suggests, your task is to guide and inform residents and other customers in many different areas. You work as a generalist across the entire municipal competence area. Examples of tasks include booking sludge removal, fault reports, disclosure of public documents and invoice issues. Using a case management system, we ensure that questions we cannot handle in the contact center are forwarded to the appropriate unit in the organization for follow-up with the customer. Collaboration with the sectors is extensive.

About you

You have previous experience with customer-related tasks and have experience working in public administration or a service profession. You also have high administrative skills from previous jobs where administrative tasks were part of the role, and you handle several digital systems comfortably. For this assignment, you need at least a relevant upper secondary education.

It is of utmost importance that you always put the resident/customer at the center.

You have good pedagogical ability, are service-oriented and enjoy guiding, answering questions and finding out things you do not initially know. You approach new tasks with enthusiasm and curiosity. You are patient and do not give up when faced with setbacks.

You work together with other municipal guides and it is important that you thrive in an open environment where a lot happens and there is a lively pace. It is not uncommon for pressured situations to arise where you need to remain calm and trustworthy.

The work as a municipal guide involves handling a lot of information, so structure and accuracy are important qualities. You are a team player and consider it natural to consult with others, but also to share information and your expertise.

It is a requirement that you have a good ability to understand and express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and suitability.
