Senior Accounting Consultant in Broad Agency Role with Strong System Skills in Visma.net

We at Vindex are now, on behalf of a client, looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant for a temp-to-perm assignment starting after summer. A broad and independent role where you work with accounting from start to finish and handle multiple parallel assignments in a varied agency environment.

About the role

As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you work independently with a broad client portfolio and are responsible for the entire accounting flow. You handle accounting from bookkeeping to financial statements and annual reports according to K2. You are used to working structured with multiple assignments simultaneously and have confidence in your expertise to support even more complex accounting issues.

You work in Visma.net and become a key part of ensuring quality and structure in the accounting work. The assignment initially takes place as a consultant via Vindex with good opportunities for transfer to employment with the client.

Location: 100% hybrid (1-2 days at the end of the month in Stockholm)

Main duties

• Ongoing accounting for multiple clients simultaneously
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Reconciliations and accruals
• Monthly and annual closings
• Preparation of annual reports according to K2
• VAT and tax returns
• Contact with clients on accounting matters
• Ensuring quality and structure in accounting processes
• Work in Visma.net

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as an accounting consultant from an accounting firm with a habit of independently handling multiple clients simultaneously and working with accounting from start to finish (requirement)
• Independent in preparing financial statements and annual reports according to K2
• Good system experience and ability to quickly get familiar with new systems
• Proficient in Visma.net (requirement)
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

You are self-driven, structured, and used to taking responsibility for your assignments. You thrive in a consulting role with many points of contact, where your ability to prioritize, plan, and create structure is crucial. Furthermore, you are confident in your accounting expertise and work with high quality even under time pressure and tight deadlines.

You appreciate variation in your daily work and can quickly adapt to new assignments and client environments. You are accustomed to working in an agency environment where the client portfolio may include both Swedish and international companies, making you comfortable switching between different working methods and communicating in English when required.
