Fyrbodals Municipal Association is one of four regional municipal associations in Västra Götaland. We are a cooperative organization for 14 municipalities with a total of 270,000 inhabitants. The role as Finance Manager

As Finance Manager with us, you belong to the operational support unit and work closely with the head of operational support and others in the association management.

The association is in the process of changing financial systems, where Trollhättan Municipality will be the supplier. Your experience and expertise will be important in this transition.

Otherwise, your role will be:

  • Coordinating responsibility for the association's finances
  • Responsible for the association's strategic and overall financial processes
  • Responsible for preparing year-end and interim reports including financial analysis, and responsible for coordinating these.
  • Responsible for annual report and interim report
  • Responsible for the consolidated budget for the association.
  • Responsible for compiling the operational plan with budget
  • Accounting responsible for the association
  • System administrator for financial system
  • Responsible for the association's VAT management
  • Responsible for internal control
  • Coordinating responsibility for the association's economists.
  • Presenter at political meetings regarding the association's budget and financial statements.
  • Guidance and support for project management regarding finances, budget, and regulations

Qualifications

  • University degree in finance or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Several years of experience in qualified financial work in municipal operations
  • Very good knowledge of municipal accounting and legislation
  • Good computer skills with very good knowledge of Excel and other Office 365 applications

Meritorious

  • Experience with EU projects
