Aryzta Bakeries Nordic AB was founded in 1915 as a family bakery and is today part of the international group Aryzta AG, a global leader in the bakery industry. In Sweden, we operate two production facilities – one in Stockholm – where we produce hamburger buns for well-known QSR players and Food Service customers across the Nordic region.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career within food quality while also contributing to the development of the food safety culture at a leading player in the industry? Aryzta Bakeries is now looking for a Quality Specialist for a parental leave cover starting mid-May 2026.

The temporary position is expected to last approximately 1.5 years, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you report to the Senior FSQ Manager Aryzta Nordic and join Aryzta's quality team for Sweden. As a Quality Specialist, you will have a central position in the business and become an important link between production, the quality function, and external partners.

About the role

As a Quality Specialist, you will work both hands-on in production and strategically within our quality systems. You ensure that our processes and products meet requirements according to HACCP, applicable standards such as BRC and SQMS, customer requirements, and legislation.

You will primarily work at our facility in Skärholmen, where you are a clear representative of quality and food safety in daily operations. Travel may occur to our facility in Malmö as well as to other Aryzta units and suppliers in Europe.

Your main responsibilities

Operational quality work

  • Conduct quality rounds and actively drive a strong food safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and hygiene routines, and support and motivate the production team
  • Perform product assessments and daily checks
  • Handle and follow up on deviations
  • Conduct shelf-life studies and checks according to plan and customer requirements
  • Report how GMP and quality function operationally to the FSQ Manager

Systematic work & quality system

  • Establish, maintain, and follow up on analysis programs according to standards, legal requirements, and customer requirements
  • Establish and follow up on calibration programs for relevant equipment
  • Act as document approver in the management system
  • Drive improvement work and further develop the quality system
  • Report FSQ KPIs according to Aryzta's guidelines
  • Be an active member of the HACCP team and responsible for ongoing verification/validation of HACCP procedures

Training, audits & supplier work

  • Train personnel in food safety, hygiene, and quality
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Handle complaints
  • Ensure that purchases are made from approved suppliers

Your profile

Education & experience

  • University degree in food science, natural sciences, or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role is meritorious but not a requirement
  • Experience in sampling is advantageous
  • Knowledge of BRC, SQMS, or other quality standards is meritorious
