Description

Do you want to help develop a growing football club with over 100 years of history?

Rotebro IS FF is now looking for a dedicated club developer/clerical officer who wants to help develop our operations towards the vision of being Stockholm's best grassroots club for football, community, and development.

About Rotebro IS FF:

Rotebro IS FF was founded in 1918 and is a non-profit football club with strong local roots in Sollentuna.

The club is growing and currently has around 550 members, of which about 450 active players in approximately 25 teams, from youth to senior teams. The men's team currently plays in Division 4 Norra. Our operations are mainly conducted at Skinnaråsens IP in Rotebro, where our office is also located.

The club has recently begun implementing our long-term strategic work "Ambition 2030", which aims to make the operations even more attractive for our members, leaders, and partners.

One of the first major projects in the strategy is to develop new club premises at Skinnaråsens IP, which are currently estimated to be completed by 2027.

We offer:

With us, you get the opportunity to work in an independent role with many contact surfaces in a growing and engaged club where your work truly makes a difference for children, youth, and leaders.

We offer, among other things:

· A central role in the development of a football club over 100 years old

· Opportunity to contribute to the implementation of our strategy Ambition 2030

· Close collaboration with the club's board and leaders

· Great opportunity to influence and develop operations

· A varied role with many contact surfaces within the sports movement

The role is particularly suitable for someone who wants to further develop within the sports movement and sees a few years in a grassroots club as an important step in their continued career in sports or club life.

Job Duties:

As a club developer/clerical officer, you are a central figure in the club's daily operations and act as a hub between the board, leaders, and the sports activities. The role combines administration, operational support, and development work.

The work involves close collaboration with the board, leaders, players, parents, and external partners.

Your main responsibilities:

Club Development

  • Contribute to the development of the club in line with the strategy Ambition 2030
  • Develop collaborations with the municipality, associations, and other clubs
  • Work on developing partners and sponsors

Administration

  • Administer parts of the club's operations in systems such as SportsAdmin, Fogis, and Digitala lagkassan
  • Handle administration related to matches, training courses, and association reporting
  • Some handling of the club's finances in systems such as Fortnox

Support for Operations

  • Maintain ongoing contact with leaders and coaches in senior and youth activities
  • Provide support to leaders, especially within youth activities
  • Assist in the start-up of new teams
  • Contribute to the development of our leaders and coaches

Events and Activities

  • Plan and execute the club's events (tournaments, closing ceremonies, events etc.)

The role includes office work during daytime as well as presence on the football pitches, usually at least one evening per week. Some weekend work occurs. The possibility of remote work exists over the season.

We are looking for someone who:

You thrive in an environment where much is happening and where the work combines administration, development, and close contact with the people in the operations.

A role where you get to take responsibility, work independently while collaborating with many different people suits you. You will have contact with everyone from leaders and players to the board, parents, and external partners.

You are structured, proactive, and have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work even when the pace is high.

We believe you have:

  • A strong interest in sports and club life
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and administering operations
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on sports, club life, or administration
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Experience working within club activities, sports, or similar organizations
  • Comfortable with digital work tools and administrative systems
  • Good knowledge of non-profit organizations and how the sports movement works

It is considered positive if you have played football yourself or been active in the sports movement.

A driver's license (B) and access to your own car are requirements.

Personal qualities:

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The role involves great responsibility, many contact surfaces, and varied work. To thrive with us, we believe you are:

  • Self-driven and accustomed to taking initiative
  • Structured and able to create order when many things happen simultaneously
  • Service-oriented and enjoy working with people
  • Engaged in club life and development work

You enjoy the combination of practical day-to-day work and more long-term development work.

Since you work in a relatively small organization, you need to be flexible and prepared to help where needed.
